“Welcome Back” is a re-awakening as an artist and a human being. These pages, filled with illustrations, musings and poems is meant to evoke a spiritual arousal; a sense of openness to what we usually shelter our minds and bodies from. Inscribed in its pages are stories of adventure, sorrow, joy, life, and lots of dirt from many places.
The Outbound Collective is an online community of outdoors enthusiasts. The following articles have been featured on the “The Outbound Journal” section of their site, which is reserved for members of the community who share their personal knowledge, experiences, photographs, and videos in an exceptional way.
Recession and depression described much of the country in 2010. Jobs were limited for many, and they were especially hard to find for artists. Rather than submit entirely to the riptide of the times, my second journal provided the creative outlet I needed to stay sharp.
