May Online Workshops - 2020
When I was a kid, I used to watch Bob Ross on Cable Access Television with my dad. We would tune in and watch him transform a blank canvass into a beautiful nature scene. My favorite part was how he would think out loud while painting is "little tree friends". Generally speaking, the creative process is fascinating to a lot of people. Despite that you might not have any intention of picking up a paintbrush or pencil any time soon, chances are that you're stuck at home with the rest of us and could use a bit of creativity to help pass the time. I couldn't agree more with you.
On April 22nd I hosted my first Live Draw on Instagram. I didn’t know what to expect, but after the ball got rolling it felt good connecting with people around art and telling stories about the landscape I was drawing. There was some banter going back and forth with people who said “hi”, and the whole thing felt very Bob Ross. Can’t wait to do it again on May 6th at 6:30 PM EDT.
Starting this month, I will be hosting a weekly Live Draw on Instagram, in addition to a bi-monthly online drawing workshop via Zoom. See the dates, below.
